Fight spam!
Ever subscribed to a newslist you can't unsubscribe from no matter how hard you try?
You need a mail-filter! Something that goes through your inbox(es) and filter out the crap before you fetch your mail.
Mailwasher Pro features a bayesian learning filter that improves over time, it lets you manage your own blacklist, as well as your own whitelist. It also features the possibility to report spam directly to SpamCOP, fetch blacklisted mails/mailaddresses/domains from SpamCOP etc.
Here's the coolest feature: You can bounce unwanted mail right back to it's source, which automatically unsubscribes you from many autoresponder-services.
It's the one application I'm most pleased with ever, and I'm never going to switch

Thanks for the recommendation. I’m going to give it a try–I’m glad they let you have a free trial to decide if you want to purchase or not.

Exactly, I figured I might as well show everybody what I use to fight spam. It’s the greatest thing since sliced bread… Ok, maybe not since sliced bread. Since something else :O
